Beyond Tile Shipping Information

At Beyond Tile we are happy to provide our clients FREE SHIPPING on all samples and materials within the lower 48 states unless otherwise posted. For clients in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada, there are sometimes an additional cost for shipping. We will make every effort to minimize any extra expense and take full advantage of our favorable shipping rates. Rates for smaller quantities of pebble tile, subway glass tile and other tiles are considerably higher than for larger quantities. For larger orders( usually 100 square feet and more) there is often no additional charge.

We also serve the Caribbean, South and Central America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Rates for small quantities are not favorable and typically not advised as the only service available is for Air related transport and tiles were not really intended to fly. However, rates for larger quantities are very attractive and we are happy to provide quotes. Typically when you start looking at hundreds of square feet for a project the freight cost are surprisingly good, All quotes for shipments are good for 30 days.

UPS Ground and Freight Brokering Services for LTL ( pallet shipments) are our default shipping service, but you may also choose from one of several expedited options: 3-Day Shipping, 2-Day Shipping, Next Day Shipping. There are additional costs for these services so please call for a quote.

The material is insured by the carriers and any damage is subject to their claim procedures. UPS does not require signatures and so material will be left at your door step. You will receive tracking information so you will be aware of when delivery is scheduled. For residential deliveries the carrier must call to set appointments and requires someone to sign for the merchandise.

International Shipments

Shipments outside the U.S.A. may be subject to tariffs, duties, value added tax (VAT), etc.

  • These costs are your responsibility
  • They are not included in shipping charges
  • The shipping company (UPS) will charge Customs fees
  • Contact your local Customs office for more information

Credit cards from outside the U.S.A may require additional verification.

Be aware that if you refuse a package that has been received by customs because you will not pay the tariffs or taxes, we will refund you the cost of the product after charging you for the shipping and additional fees required to return the package to us.

Canadian Rates for Brokerage with UPS

Canadian taxes will also apply as will duty. Typically Duty is never more than 3.4% for glass and should be 0 for most of our natural stone products.

Transit Times

Our warehouse facilities are based in Southern California. Orders processed before 1pm Pacific Time are usually shipped the same day. Transit time commences the day after pick up and are quoted based on a 7 day week excluding major holidays. Shipping delays based on misinformation or weather are rare but should be considered. We highly recommend not scheduling any installers until you have received and inspected the material as we are not responsible for any contractor scheduling issues or additional charges.
